One of America's Best Small Towns

Hendersonville, NC

Small in Size, Big in Attraction

Recognized as one of the Top 100 Small Towns in America, both Hendersonville and Brevard are as close as you need them to be. Just 18 minutes down the mountain via private road, Hendersonville boasts great restaurants, healthcare, entertainment and shopping. Hendersonville’s Main Street business district holds to its turn of the century architecture, yet supports a thriving local business, brewery, restaurant and arts scene that is strikingly 21st century. And while you can enjoy Hendersonville’s substantial local flavor, you can also access familiar chains like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Publix, Harris Teeter, Fresh Market, Wal-Mart, Sam’s, Walgreens and CVS. Both Brevard (30 minutes) and Asheville (40 minutes) are easy drives for lunch or dinner. And while you’re miles away from the work world, if necessary, the Asheville (35 minutes) and Greenville (55 minutes) airports are easily accessible.

Exceptional Health Care

2020’s global pandemic has taught us the importance of having top health care near our primary and secondary residences. Hendersonville is blessed with exceptional health care, remarkably so for a town of its size. It hosts two outstanding hospitals: Advent Health Care, with a CMS 5-star rating and a Leapfrog Safety Grade A; and Pardee Hospital, part of the University of North Carolina’s health system. Together, they offer a wide range of specialties and on-site treatment centers.
Given the beauty and lifestyle Western North Carolina affords, Hendersonville attracts physicians trained at nationally recognized health centers such as The Mayo Clinic, The Cleveland Clinic, and Mt. Sinai Hospital, along with major university health centers including Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Emory, Vanderbilt, Duke, and the University of Virginia, just to name a few. And only 20 minutes away is Mission Health’s Asheville campus, which includes an even broader array of sub-specialties and treatment centers, along with a Level II Trauma Center and air transport capability.
At the foot of Mt. Pinnacle, just minutes from Blue Moon’s gate, you’ll find both the Henderson County EMS Station and the Little River Fire Department, both on Crab Creek Road.
